Personalized Packaging by Whitney Morgan Photography

One of my clients Lee ordered a set of photos as as surprise for his girlfriend Q. Normally I deliver all of my photographs in a black box with tissue, however I was out this week and had not received a shipment of new boxes in. With my creative mind flowing I decided that I could just make a personalized package for Lee's girlfriend. After working and creating a beautiful package and loving the end result I have decided to integrate this option into my business. Coming soon! Whitney Morgan Photography will be offering personalized packaging. Check back to see what I come up with!

AOII Sorority Group Photos by Whitney Morgan Photography

A couple of weeks ago I helped my friend Allison with a sorority photo shoot. This is an image I captured while Allison picked me up so I could get an overhead shot. This was definitely a funny sight to see but as a photographer you do whatever it takes to get the job done. The UCM AOII girls were an awesome bunch to photograph.

Courtney by Whitney Morgan Photography

I did an awesome photoshoot with one of my good friends Courtney. We had a blast shooting in the burg going downtown to the Pine Street alleys and taking some gorgeous photos on the UCM campus. I was able to capture Courtney's amazing and fun personality.

First Post by Whitney Morgan Photography

Hey! This is silly me! I wanted to have a photo to put a face with the name. Whitney Morgan Photography is starting a new blog! I am really excited to post and keep everyone updated on what is happening at Whitney Morgan Photography.

My name is Whitney Barker and I am the owner and creator or Whitney Morgan Photography. The awesome business name is created from the combination of my first and middle name. I started this business last year and have began my journey to becoming a full time photographer. For now, I am a student at the University of Central Missouri where I plan to obtain a degree and certification in photography with a minor in business administration. I will be graduating in the fall of '09 and I am ready!

This summer I did an awesome internship at Tom Schmidt Photography where I dove into the world of weddings and senior photos. We photographed a wedding almost every weekend this summer and had tons of seniors every week. I still continue to help and learn every chance I get and continue to shoot weddings with Tom and his dad Jerry Schmidt.

Tom took my profile photo as well as my "silly" photo here. Visit his website at schmidtphoto.com.

Some upcoming events for me is a couple shoot and a family shoot this weekend. I can't wait for everyone to see!
